Team news for Saturday's League Two clash between Bristol Rovers v Crawley Town at the Memorial Stadium.

Bristol Rovers will be without injured striker Matt Harrold.

Harrold is struggling with an ankle injury and has missed Rovers' last two matches. The Pirates' top scorer is likely to be sidelined for another fortnight, meaning young forward Eliot Richards will have to lead the line at the Memorial Stadium.

Caretaker manager Shaun North will be missing another attacking option in Mustapha Carayol, who is currently out of action with a groin problem, while midfielder Matt Gill is also a doubt.

Gary Sawyer sustained a head injury in the 2-1 victory at Hereford on Tuesday night and North is waiting on news of the defender's fitness ahead of Saturday's clash with the league leaders.

Defender Adam Virgo (knee ligaments) and midfielder Wayne Brown (ankle) remain long-term absentees.

Meanwhile, League Two leaders Crawley should be unchanged for the clash.

Boss Steve Evans has a fully-fit squad to choose from and named his strongest line-up for last weekend's FA Cup win over Rovers' neighbours Bristol City.

Crawley this week turned down a bid of £400,000 for star striker Matt Tubbs so he will continue to lead the line.

Tubbs' 17th goal of the season secured Town's 1-0 win over the Championship Robins.

Evans received a further boost this week when defender Claude Davis signed a new 18-month contract.

Crawley beat off interest from Championship and League One clubs to retain the 32-year-old Jamaican centre-half, who arrived on a short-term deal in September after leaving Crystal Palace.
