Wes Morgan believes his move to Leicester marks the start of a new chapter in his career.
Morgan signed for the Foxes from East Midlands rivals Nottingham Forest this week after spending his entire career at the City Ground since joining the Reds as a trainee in 2002.
The defender made over 300 league appearances for Forest but, after almost a decade on the banks of the River Trent, the 27-year-old felt the opportunity to join Leicester was too good to turn down.
"It was a big decision to leave Forest, but I felt the time was right," Morgan told the Foxes' official website.
"Leicester are a club potentially moving towards the Premier League, so I'm here to help the cause.
"It's a new challenge for me and a new start. I'm here to play and I want to help the team out as much as I can. There are a lot of games coming up, so I'm looking forward to it."
