Brentford winger Sam Wood does not know what the future holds after returning from his loan spell at Rotherham.
The 25-year-old made seven appearances and scored one goal during his six-week stint at the Don Valley Stadium, and Millers manager Andy Scott wants to keep him at the club.
But Wood, who will be out of contract in the summer, wants to speak to Bees boss Uwe Rosler before deciding on his next move.
"I've spoken briefly to Andy Scott and something might happen in January. He said he wants to keep me there, and I wouldn't mind going back," he told the Hounslow Chronicle.
"But it depends on my situation at Brentford and what they have planned for me. I haven't spoken to the gaffer yet. He didn't want me to go out on loan in the first place but I needed to play games.
"I might go back to Brentford, do well in training and force my way into the team. But my future really is up in the air at the moment."
